Nine Month Program with meetings once a month.
40 students are selected each year from all six Arlington ISD high schools and can include students who reside in Arlington or AISD boundaries who attend Timberview HS, Summit HS, Kennedale HS and private schools.
High school sophomores submit applications by the date listed on the application. The class is selected and students and parents are invited to an Orientation in June.
An overnight retreat in August is followed by monthly meetings on Mondays from 4:30-8:30 PM including dinner (note: the Economic Development Session will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm).
There is no cost to the students. Dinners are donated and costs kept to a minimum. Donations from organizations, corporations and individuals are gratefully received.
A steering committee of Leadership Arlington’s Adult & Youth Alumni plan and implement the program.
